  1. Schedule a Call A short call, before anyone drives anywhere

    We appreciate your time and therefore, we'll ask a few questions to break down general scope and estimated cost of that type of hardwood flooring project. If we are a match, we'll schedule an in-home consultation for your new hardwood flooring in Atlanta.

    What we cover
    • Rough square footage and which rooms
    • What is down now, and how old it is
    • Whether the house is occupied during the work
    • A ballpark range so nobody wastes a visit

    What we need from you: nothing prepared. If you can send a photo of the floor beforehand, the ballpark gets tighter.

  2. Scheduling Deposit, then dates in the calendar

    Once you accept the proposal, we will ask for a 50% deposit to cover the initial costs of your hardwood flooring and go ahead and schedule your project.

    What the deposit covers
    • Material ordered that week, so it can acclimate on time
    • Your dates held in the calendar
    • Labor warranty terms, on the quote sheet rather than produced later

    What we need from you: a signed proposal and the deposit. Take your time. A quote that expires in 48 hours is a sales tactic, not a schedule.

  3. In House Consultation About an hour, at the house

    We'll meet you at your home and have an in-depth conversation about your project, different hardwood flooring options and overall logistics of the project. Within 24 hrs we'll send a proposal for the work.

    What happens on the visit
    • Room-by-room measurement, not an estimate from a plan
    • Subfloor and moisture checked where relevant
    • Species, finish and sheen options talked through in your own light
    • Logistics: pets, furniture, which rooms stay usable

    What we need from you: access to every room in scope, and an idea of your timing. Nothing is signed at this visit.

  4. Show Time! The crew on site

    Now is the time to get to work! We'll have ordered all the supplies and materials needed for your project and have our team ready to make your hardwood flooring come to life.

    While we are there
    • Zippered barriers at the work-zone thresholds, HVAC returns sealed
    • Dust captured at the drum, not swept up afterwards
    • Rooms we are not working in stay closed and stay clean
    • Stain approved on your own floor before we commit to a room

    What we need from you: furniture out of the rooms in scope, pets somewhere else during sanding, and a parking spot near the door.

  5. Final Walk Through Before the last payment

    After all work is completed to our satisfaction, we'll walk you through the project, answer any questions and give you cleaning & maintenance recommendations. When you are satisfied with the project, we collect the final payment.

    What you leave with
    • A care sheet: what to clean it with and what to keep away from it
    • Cure times in writing. Socks, furniture and rugs each have their own
    • Written warranty terms and how to reach us if something moves

    What we need from you: an hour, and honesty. Say it at the walkthrough rather than in a review, we would much rather fix it.
