Dust Containment Comes Standard on Every Job
The difference you live with
Sanding a floor makes dust. The question is whether it ends up in your vents or in a sealed drum outside. Ours are vacuum-fed at the source; the work zone runs under negative pressure, and HVAC returns are taped off before the first pass. It is included on every job, not an upsell, and it is the main reason families stay in the house while we work.
- Capture rate: Roughly 95% of airborne dust taken at the drum
- Containment: Zippered barriers, negative air, HVAC returns sealed
- Your stuff: Stays where it is in rooms we are not touching
- After: We wipe down and vacuum before the first coat, not after

How a Hardwood Flooring Job Runs, Start to Finish
How a job runs
Every TriArt job runs the same five stages, and we tell you which one you are in each morning. Quotes are written at the walkthrough, not over the phone, and the price on that sheet is the price on the invoice unless you change the scope.
Walkthrough
01
We measure, check what is under the current floor, and give you a written number before we leave. No sales visit, no second appointment.
Subfloor & moisture
02
Moisture readings on the slab or joists and a flatness check. This is the step that decides whether a floor cups in year two.
Containment
03
Barriers up, vents sealed, negative air running. Rooms we are not working in stay closed and stay clean.
Sand, stain, seal
04
Three grits minimum. You approve the stain on your own floor, in your own light, before we commit to the room.
Cure & walk
05
Socks at 24 hours, furniture at five to seven days, rugs at three weeks. We walk it with you and leave the care sheet.

Where we work
We work twelve cities from the Alpharetta showroom, and the housing stock changes enough between them that the job does too. Below is what we are usually called for in each, and what that means for your floor.
What Atlanta Homeowners Say About TriArt
In their words
Hardwood Flooring Questions from Atlanta Homeowners
Before you call
Do you do the work yourselves, or subcontract it?
Ourselves. TriArt has no sales team and no subcontractors. The person who measures your floor and writes the quote is on site for the work, and the same two or three faces are in your house from the first day to the last. If that sounds like a small thing, ask anyone who has had four different crews rotate through a job. You can meet the crew here.
How does the estimate work, and does it cost anything?
Free, and it happens in your house rather than over the phone. We measure, check what is under the current floor, take moisture readings where it matters, and leave you a written price before we go. No deposit, no follow-up sales visit, and if the job you asked for is the wrong job we will tell you so, plenty of floors quoted for hardwood floor refinishing only need a screen and recoat at half the price. Our full process walks through what happens after you say yes.
How far out are you booking?
Usually one to three weeks from the estimate to a start date, depending on the season. Late spring and the run-up to the holidays are the busiest windows, stair and tread conversions especially, because people want them finished before guests arrive. If you are working to a closing date or a move-in, say so on the first call and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
Which parts of metro Atlanta do you cover?
Twelve cities from the Alpharetta showroom, each with its own page: Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek, Roswell, Marietta and seven more across the metro. Outside that ring we still take larger projects. Call and ask rather than assuming we will not travel.
Do you work on anything other than hardwood?
Only where it is the right answer. We install waterproof vinyl plank in basements, laundry rooms and rentals, because solid hardwood below grade is a mistake we would rather stop than fix later. Where a floor is failing in patches we will quote board repair before replacement. We do not do carpet or tile, and we would rather send you to someone who does than take a job we are not the best crew for.
