There is a lot that can happen between choosing a floor and seeing the finished project.

Subfloor conditions can change the installation method. Existing hardwood may be better suited for refinishing than replacement. New boards have to transition cleanly into existing rooms. Stain colors can look completely different once they are applied to the actual wood in your home.

Those details are why we do not approach flooring as a one-size-fits-all project.

We look at what is already there, talk through how you use the space, and build the scope around your home instead of trying to fit every homeowner into the same package.

Sometimes a floor needs to be replaced. Sometimes it needs to be refinished. And sometimes a repair or recoat is enough. We would rather explain the difference than sell work the floor does not need.

Your project starts with an in-home assessment and a written proposal so you understand what is being done, what materials are being used, and what the project will involve before work starts.

Attention to the Finish

Species, stain, sheen, transitions, stair details, trim, and surrounding finishes all affect how the finished floor looks. We work through those decisions before they become expensive changes later.

Hardwood floor installation

Solid or engineered, site-finished or prefinished. We prep and level the subfloor ourselves and acclimate material in the house before a single board goes down.

Hardwood floor refinishing

Sanded to bare wood, stained to the color you pick in your own light, sealed to survive a family. Most homes are back in service inside a week.

Carpeted stairs converted to solid treads and risers, matched to the floor they land on. Railings, newels, and iron balusters too.

Hardwood floor repair

Water damage, pet stains, cupped boards, squeaks and the gap where the fridge line let go. Weave-in board replacement so the patch disappears.

Luxury vinyl plank

Waterproof plank for basements, laundry rooms, and rentals; the rooms where real hardwood is the wrong answer and we will tell you so.

Deep cleaning & recoat

If the finish is dull but not worn through, a deep clean and a screen-and-recoat gets you most of the way there for a fraction of a full sand.

How We Work

From First Call to Final Walkthrough

  1. Schedule a Call

    We appreciate your time and therefore, we'll ask a few questions to break down general scope and estimated cost of that type of hardwood flooring project. If we are a match, we'll schedule an in-home consultation for your new hardwood flooring in Atlanta.

  2. Scheduling

    Once you accept the proposal, we will ask for a 50% deposit to cover the initial costs of your hardwood flooring and go ahead and schedule your project.

  3. In House Consultation

    We'll meet you at your home and have an in-depth conversation about your project, different hardwood flooring options and overall logistics of the project. Within 24 hrs we'll send a proposal for the work.

  4. Show Time!

    Now is the time to get to work! We'll have ordered all the supplies and materials needed for your project and have our team ready to make your hardwood flooring come to life.

  5. Final Walk Through

    After all work is completed to our satisfaction, we'll walk you through the project, answer any questions and give you cleaning & maintenance recommendations. When you are satisfied with the project, we collect the final payment.
